Some changes you should know about...
Greetings,
If you’re like me, you’ve found it challenging to keep up with all the changes affecting our economy. I’d like to share how these shifts are impacting Seamless—and, ultimately, you as a lover of sewing.
Because nearly all of the high-quality fabrics we carry are made in the Far East, new tariffs on countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, and others are beginning to drive up costs. You can expect to see higher fabric prices in the coming months.
At Seamless, however, we are committed to keeping our margins the same, so you will only see increases that reflect true changes in our costs.
Some supplies—such as apparel patterns and select notions—may also become harder to find, as several producers and distributors are closing their doors.
On top of that, rising credit card processing fees are creating challenges for small businesses like ours. While we will not add a “convenience fee” for credit card use, we do ask that you use a credit card only for purchases of $10 or more.
Please also note: when a class registration or product purchase made by credit card is later refunded, the processing fees are charged to us twice—once for the sale, and again for the refund. Beginning September 1, we will introduce a cancellation fee if you choose a refund a class or workshop back to your credit card. You won't be charged a fee if you choose store credit as your refund. Our regular Class Policies will continue to apply.
But there is good news. This October, Seamless will celebrate five years in business! We are going strong, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with the best in modern fabrics, sewing supplies, and learning opportunities.
Our success is thanks to you—your love of sewing, your creativity, and your support of handmade craft. We are deeply grateful for your loyalty, and excited for what the next five years will bring.
With gratitude,
Denise
