Piecing Techniques

Using the Hats, Hats, Hooray! quilt pattern, learn various techniques for efficient cutting and piecing to create a festive holiday or winter quilt. In this class you'll make a sample block to determine how to cut and assemble blocks efficiently and accurately. Then chain piecing, pressing seams open, and other techniques will help you pull the quilt top together without replicating mistakes. If you've never sewing with flannel, you may want to try that fuzzy cotton for this project! Hats, Hats, Hooray! is appropriate for a confident beginner to intermediate quilter.
