Beginning Quilting I
Quilting is one of the most exciting of the sewing arts. At every stage of the quilting process, your project takes on a completely different character. Learn the basics in this comprehensive class that progresses from piecing to simple appliqué to assembling the "sandwich" to quilting and, finally, binding.
You may bring your own tools, fabric and batting or purchase in our store, using your class discount of 15%. Start this new and enormously satisfying craft by learning how to do it right! Begin at the beginning and go on to make quilts for your family and friends that they will cherish and pass on.
Classes: 5 @ 2 hours each
Prerequisite: Ability to sew a straight line, keep consistent seam allowance
