Bitty Bins

Looking for a quick handmade gift for the holidays? Bitty Bins are tiny, useful, and a great excuse to dig into your favorite fabric scraps.
In this class, you’ll make a set of three fabric bins from a pattern by Christina Miller of Fabric Pop, measuring just 4" x 4", 3" x 3", and 2" x 2". They’re perfect for holding sewing notions, jewelry, office supplies, or other tiny treasures and make an adorable handmade gift on their own or filled with a few treats.
You’ll also learn how to piece a tiny sawtooth star to add to one of your bins, giving you a fun introduction to small-scale quilt piecing.
This is a great scrap-friendly project with plenty of opportunities to mix fabrics, play with color, and make each bin a little different.
In this class, you’ll learn how to:
-
Construct three sizes of fabric bins
-
Work accurately with small pieces
-
Piece a tiny sawtooth star quilt block
-
Add structure and shape to your bins
-
Finish your bins for a clean, polished look
Make a set for someone on your holiday list—or keep them for yourself. We won’t tell.
