Kids and Teens Intermediate Sewing Weekly

During each Intermediate Sewing session, young sewists who have completed Beginning Sewing at Seamless will practice their skills on various projects: quilting, bag-making, clothes, stuffed animals, household gifts, and more. 

Some projects will take longer than one class to complete. Students are encouraged to register for more than one class at a time in order to complete more advanced projects. Classes need not be sequential although students will benefit if they are.

Sessions: 1 of 2 hours each

Prerequisites: Completed Beginning Sewing at Seamless. Be at least 10 years old.

Supplies: Students must have their own basic supply kit:neutral thread, scissors, seam ripper, bobbins, straight pins, clips, Frixtion Pen (black or blue).

Class Policies: Be sure to read our Class Policies prior to registration.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Must be able to sew straight and curved seams. Able to thread a sewing machine and make bobbins. Understand how to move the needle position. Understand how to change the stitch length and type of stitch.
Materials Included: Students must bring their own basic supplies and purchase fabrics for specific projects.
Requirements: Must have complete Beginning Sewing for Kids and Teens at Seamless.
