The Sophie Dress
The flared Sophie Dress features a single lapel V-neckline, drop waistline and centre back seam with dipped hemline at the side seams. The pattern includes options for sleeveless or elbow-length sleeves.
This project is a perfect first experience sewing a dress.Straight lines that are not too difficult but great styling and drape. If you choose sleeves, you'll learn how to fit and insert them.
Sizes: XXS-XL
Recommended fabrics: light to medium weight linens or linen blends, cotton
Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate
Notions: Thread, lightweight fusible interfacing
Basic sewing supplies are required: scissors, thread, empty bobbin,
rotary cutter with sharp blade, pins and/or clips.
A $5 fee will be charged if student does not have basic supplies.
