Flatiron Jacket in Boiled Wool
Boiled wool is a sumptuous knit fabric that works perfectly for simple coat and jacket projects that require no lining. The Flatiron Coat or Jacket by The Sewing Workshop is just such a pattern. Its simple construction lends itself to the overlapping seams that work best in boiled wool, which does not fray!
Join our course in using boiled wool and master overlapping seams, double top stitching, hand sewn snap closures and proper fitting. The Flatiron pattern comes in women's regular and plus sizing. Our boiled wool is 80% wool and 20% poly for stretch, and is imported from Italy. We stock solid colors and several patterns.
