Piece, Quilt & Construct: The Sardine Tin

Grow your foundation paper piecing and bag making skills with a playful project—a sardine tin! Using the Woolly Petals pattern, you’ll create an adorable three-dimensional home for your sardine pillows. In class, we’ll cover the steps: piecing the top with FPP, adding quilting details, and constructing the tin itself. Along the way, you’ll build skills in quilting, sewing 3D objects, binding, and (of course) plenty of practice with paper piecing.
This is an intermediate-level class. Prior foundation paper piecing experience is REQUIRED. Please note: this class focuses on making the tin only—the sardine pillows are made in a separate workshop. If you are interested in making solely the sardines, you can sign up for that class here.
Prerequisite: Previous Foundation paper piecing experience required.
Classes: 4 classes of 2 hours each - Homework will be assigned between sessions, with breaks built into the schedule to give you time to work at your own pace.
