Intro to FPP: Sleepy Fox Block

Curious about foundation paper piecing but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly class is a great introduction to the fundamentals of FPP using the charming Sleepy Fox pattern by Third Story Workshop. We’ll cover how to read a foundation paper piecing pattern, choose and prepare fabrics, sew accurately on paper, and achieve crisp points and clean seams.
Students will work step-by-step through the Sleepy Fox block, learning tips and tricks for accuracy, organization, and joining papers with this technique. By the end of class, you’ll have a finished (or nearly finished) fox block and the skills needed to continue exploring foundation paper piecing on your own.
