Seminar: Common Garment Pattern Fitting Issues

Do you seek a better fit with your sewing patterns? This beginner-friendly class is designed to help sewists confidently identify and correct the most common garment pattern fitting problems. Over the course of two hours, you’ll learn how to diagnose fit issues, understand their causes, and apply practical adjustments.
We will utilize visual guides and interactive Q&A to explore solutions for:
- Bust Adjustments – Full and small bust alterations for a balanced fit.
- Shoulder & Armhole Fit – Correcting gaping, tightness, and slope issues.
- Waist & Hip Adjustments – Refining ease, shaping, and contour for comfort.
- Length & Proportion Fixes – Adjusting bodice, sleeve, and skirt lengths.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear, step-by-step approach to fitting garments that look and feel great, plus a set of reference notes you can use for future projects.
Please note that this is a seminar and we will not be sewing during this time.
