Class Policies
Tuition
Class tuition is as stated in the description for classes of 2 or more students.
If only 1 student is registered for a class as of 4 days prior to the class, that student will have a choice of:
Cancellation & Refund
If you decide to cancel a class your tuition can be refunded in one of two ways:
If you pay for the class in cash, there is no fee for cancellation.
There is no refund for cancellation within 72 hours (3 days) of the class and “no shows” at the start of the first or subsequent class sessions.
There are no partial refunds for classes missed. Cancellation fees will apply for refunds back to your credit card.
Product Discount
15% off all regular priced materials required or stated as “optional” on class supply list. The greater of a sale price or the class discount will be applied to sale merchandise.
Make-up Classes, Adults
If you miss a class that's part of a multi-class course, you make make up the class as a Private Lesson at our regular rate.
Discount for Repeating a Class
You may repeat a class at a 50% tuition discount if there is a spot open. To register you must call the shop within 48 hours of the start of the class and pay in advance by phone. We must have a record of your taking the class at least once.
Private Lessons
You must register and pay for Private Lessons online before you schedule the class with an instructor at a mutually agreed upon time.
Classes for Kids and Teens
Students must be between 12 years old and 17 years old.
Students registering for a specific class must sew the project offered in that class. If your child or teen has already taken that class, they will still need to sew the class project.
Due to demand, there is no 50% discount for repeating a kids/teen class.
Students wishing to take private lessons must register online for the times available at the tuition stated. We realize that during the school year, our available times may not work for your student, but currently that’s all we are able to offer.

- A refund for the current class or priority enrollment when the class is offered next, or
- Taking the class as a private class at the current private class rate.
Cancellation & Refund
If you decide to cancel a class your tuition can be refunded in one of two ways:
- As a store credit with no cancellation fee.
- As a credit to your credit card with a cancellation fee of $15 for multi-class courses or $10 for a one-day class or workshop.
- If you cancel your Open Studio session, your refund will be in store credit only.
