How many Poodle skirts did Doris sew? We don't know, but we love to imagine her speeding through yards of pink felt! You can rename her if you like, of course. Doris came off the assembly line on August 22, 1950 and is in very good condition.
This machine was fully reconditioned. The motor was cleaned, the carbon brushes checked, the comutator cleaned, and the wicks replaced. The gears have all been cleaned and new grease applied. Any corrosion on the lead sheath covering the light wires has been removed. The bobbin assembly, tension assembly and all of the nose parts (needle and presser bars, etc.) have been removed, cleaned, oiled and are in excellent working order. The old, incandescent light bulb has been replaced with a very bright LED bulb that should last a long time. Finally the machine has been oiled and greased for immediate use.

Seamless Featherweights are in as-is condition, but are generally good to excellent cosmetically. Mechanically, they boast original metal parts cleaned and lubricated to support perfect stitching. Each machine has been taken apart and assessed. Broken or parts in poor condition have been replaced. The original finish has been carefully cleaned and polished. And we are here to help you with startup and ongoing troubleshooting as needed.
